2. Ferndale (2): Golden Eagles averaging 385.0 yards per game rushing.

3. Blaine (4): Borderites make tough trip to Friday Harbor this week.

4. Burlington-Edison (5): Tigers rebounded, even without leading back Jae Evans.

5. Mount Baker (6): Mountaineers opened NWC 1A play with authoritative victory.

6. Squalicum (3): Storm played well against Ferndale, but big plays hurt it in the end.

7. Meridian (9): Trojans not blowing anybody out, but they have won three straight.

8. Friday Harbor (7): Wolverines came just one point away from beating Meridian.

9. Sedro-Woolley (12): Cubs will try to keep things rolling against Ferndale.

10. Nooksack Valley (8): Pioneers need to rebound quickly with Meridian visiting.

11. Lynden Christian (10): Lyncs' offense struggled in the rain last week at Blaine.

12. Sehome (11): Mariners felt good about how they played Lynden, in spite of score.

13. Bellingham (13): Red Raiders' defensive woes make it tough to get first win.

14. Anacortes (14): Seahawks struggling to do much of anything offensively this year.
