Some of Whatcom County's finest artists will participate in the 18th annual self-guided -- and free -- Whatcom Artists Studio Tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6-7, and Oct. 13-14.
Whether you're a longtime collector or are just beginning a collection, the tour is a great way to shop for fine art and craft, and to see artists at work.
The Jansen Art Center, 321 Front St., in Lynden, hosts an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, for the participating artists. Details: studiotour.net.
