Ferndale falls to Anacortes in boys' tennis

The Ferndale boys' tennis team lost to visiting Anacortes 6-1 in Northwest Conference action Friday, Sept. 26.

The Golden Eagles dropped to 0-10, 0-10 NWC while the Seahawks improved to 6-6, 5-5 NWC.

Ferndale received its win at No. 4 singles when Nate Fallis won 6-4, 7-6 (3).

"Nate has been pretty steady," Ferndale coach Rudy Vendiola said in a phone interview. "He was able to pull out yet another win. Overall, the majority of the players improved in the second set."
