The Ferndale boys' cross country team lost in a tiebreaker with Burlington-Edison in a three-team Northwest Conference meet on Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Burlington.
Burlington-Edison scored 37 points, Ferndale had 37 points and Mount Baker scored 54 points.
Dillon Quintana from Mount Baker won the event with a time of 15 minutes, 30 seconds, which was a new course record.
Connor Jungkuntz from Ferndale finished second with a time of 15:44 and Logan Jungkuntz finished third with a time of 16:50.
Shelby Miles had the second best time for Mount Baker, finishing in 17:36.
