Lyncs lose in 3 to Burlington-Edison

The Lynden Christian volleyball team lost to Burlington-Edison 25-9, 25-16, 25-11 in a Northwest Conference match on Tuesday, Sept. 25, in Burlington.

"We came up against the defending 2A state champs and they served really tough," Lynden Christian coach Kim Grycel said in a phone interview. "We struggled on passing and got beat by a really good team tonight."

The Lyncs were led by Hannah Wynstra with five kills.

"I think Kara Bajema came in and played really well for us," Grycel said.

Lynden Christian falls to 2-3, 2-2 NWC and will host Anacortes on Thursday, Sept. 27.
