The Bellingham volleyball team defeated Blaine 25-9, 25-16, 25-17 in a Northwest Conference match on Tuesday, Sept. 25, in Bellingham.
"We played a good game overall," Bellingham coach Kim Bjorklund said in a phone interview. "It was nice to see us push hard and take all three. I was pleased with their play today, they did well."
Bellingham was led by Olivia Halverson with 14 kills, Anna Zeegers with 13 digs and Kellie Hofstetter with 20 assists.
The Red Raiders improved to 4-2, 3-1 NWC and will play at Squalicum on Thursday, Sept. 27.
Blaine fell to 0-5, 0-4 NWC and will play at Ferndale on Thursday, Sept. 27.
