The Bellingham boys' tennis team edged Burlington-Edison 4-3 in a Northwest Conference match on Monday, Sept. 24, in Burlington.
"It was a hard-fought match between two even teams," Bellingham coach Steve Chronister said in a phone interview. "There were many excellent matches."
The Red Raiders had two wins at singles and two in doubles. Winning in singles were Brad Dale at No. 3 and Connor Thompson at No. 4. Bellingham had doubles wins by E.J. Troutman and Auden Schilder at No. 1 and Logan Schilder and Nate Pearsall at No. 3.
"We just fought really hard," Chronister said.
Bellingham improved to 8-2, 7-1 NWC while Burlington-Edison dropped to 5-4, 5-3 NWC.
