LUMMI ISLAND - The vehicle ferry to Lummi Island resumes service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, two days earlier than anticipated from its annual checkup.
The passenger-only ferry that has served the route from Gooseberry Point to Lummi Island since Sept. 5 will run until 10:20 a.m. Tuesday. It departs at that time from Lummi Island, leaving Gooseberry Point at 10:10 a.m.
Shuttle service available during the passenger-only runs will continue through Wednesday.
Vehicles parked in supplemental parking areas must be removed by the end of the day on Monday, Oct. 1, or they will be towed.
