With all the election insanity this year, it is easy to overlook the local races. Too often, we get caught up trying to figure out which candidate is the least terrible, but this year, I get an opportunity to vote for a truly good man.

I'm voting Matt Krogh for state representative. Matt, a devoted husband and father, lives just a few blocks from my house and is ready to go to Olympia and fight for us. During the day, Matt has been fighting for clean drinking water, farmer's irrigation rights, and Whatcom County's fisheries as the North Sound Baykeeper. Now, I believe he is going to take his level-headed, moderate approach to Olympia where it is sorely needed.

It is time to set aside the partisan bickering, bloviating and just focus on sending good people to do the people's work. Please join me in voting for Matt Krogh.
