The Whatcom Community College volleyball team opened up NWAACC North Division play with a 23-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-22 win over visiting Everett on Friday, Sept. 22.

Libby Moore led the Orcas with 20 kills and eight digs. Also contributing for Whatcom was Brittney DeJager with 35 assists and Karley Eggert with three aces, 17 digs.

Whatcom improved to 2-6, 1-0 NWAACC North.
