BELLINGHAM - The public is invited to a meeting to comment on long-term plans for sewer service near Kendall and fire protection in the Kendall and Sumas areas.
Whatcom County Water District 13 north of Kendall proposes $15.5 million in sewer-system expansions and equipment replacement over the next 20 years. Fire District 14, connecting Sumas, Kendall and points south along Mosquito Lake Road, anticipates spending $3.5 million over the same period on fire and emergency equipment.
