The Lynden boys' tennis team beat Ferndale 5-2 on Friday, Sept. 14, at Ferndale in Northwest Conference play.
Lynden's No. 1 singles player Grant Wolffis beat Trevor Koehn 6-4, 6-1 and No. 3 Brian Groves also won.
In doubles play, Lynden's No. 1 team of Jay Roper and Mikal Olson beat Ferndale's Matt Scott and Joshua Mielke 6-1, 6-0 and the Lions' Luke Reardon/Toby Dalla Santa and Trevor Dalla Santa/Brock Benner teams also won.
Ferndale's Taylor Walton and Nate Fallis won in singles play.
Ferndale hosts Bellingham and Lynden hosts Sehome at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17. Both are NWC games.
