High school juniors and seniors who need help getting ready for the SATs can take a prep course at Whatcom Community College this fall.
The six-week course will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays from Sept. 24 to Oct. 29 in room 161 of Cascade Hall at WCC, 237 W. Kellogg Road.
Students will learn test-taking strategies and techniques for reading, writing and math. They'll also review common trouble areas, such as word problems, ratios, timed essays and statistics.
The cost for the course is $149 and includes a textbook.
