PSE offers energy-efficiency services for some Point Roberts homes

Published: September 14, 2012

POINT ROBERTS - Residents of manufactured homes in Point Roberts can get free energy-efficiency upgrades through Puget Sound Energy.

The service, available to PSE customers through 2012, has a value of up to $500 per customer and could reduce energy bills by about 30 percent, according to the utility's news release.

To qualify, manufactured home owners must use electric forced-air as the primary heat source, and have not previously used the service.

The utility has teamed up with Kirkland-based Ucons LLC to install the upgrades.

PSE customers can request the service by calling Ucons at 1-800-828-8440.
