Teya Mischaikov led the Bellingham girls' soccer team with two goals and an assist in a 5-0 win over Sedro-Woolley in a Northwest Conference match on Thursday, Sept. 13, in Bellingham.
Emily Webster added a goal and an assist and Haidyn Weight and Hanna Tarleton each added a goal for the Mariners.
"I thought we played a good game. We are still working on a new formation and people playing in new places," Sehome coach Andria Fountain said in a phone interview. "People were figuring stuff out still so it was good to get a win. I think Ashley Mindnich had a good game. She was everywhere and was involved in a lot of plays and held on to the middle of the field."
Sehome improved to 4-0-1, 2-0-0 NWC and will travel to Anacortes on Tuesday, Sept. 18.
