Bellingham defeats Sedro-Woolley 7-0 in boys' tennis

The Bellingham boys' tennis team defeated Sedro-Woolley 7-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 12, in a Northwest Conference match in Sedro-Woolley.

"I thought we got better today at every spot and I was very happy with how we played," Bellingham coach Steve Chronister said in a phone interview. "Great bounce-back day for us."

The Red Raiders had wins in singles from E.J. Troutman, Charlie Carmichael, Connor Thompson and Austin Shenton. Bellingham had doubles wins from Sam Ferguson/Chad Cheldelin, Chris Nakatani/Emile Diffley and Nick Nolan/Nate Pearsall.

Bellingham improved to 2-1, 2-1 (NWC) on the year and will play at home against Anacortes on Friday.
