Northwest Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce kicks off its Fiestas Patrias in Ferndale with a parade at noon Saturday, Sept.15, traveling from the intersection of Fourth and Alder streets and ending at Pioneer Park, where festivities will continue until 6 p.m.
People can enjoy food, live music and other entertainment, a classic car show and a Miss Patrias pageant. Admission to the park is $2; free for kids 12 and younger.
The chamber invites people of all ages to the Boys & Girls Club at 2015 Cherry St., in the park, from 8 p.m. to midnight for live music and dancing. Details: 360-255-1874.
