The Squalicum boys' tennis team lost at Burlington-Edison 5-2 in Northwest Conference play on Monday, Sept. 10.
The Storm dropped to 0-2.
Squalicum had wins at No. 1 doubles by Zach Hart and Aaron Morris 6-1, 6-4 and at No. 3 singles by Tavo O'Connell 6-2, 1-6, 6-2.
"I was pleased with our No. 1 doubles team," Squalicum coach Joe O'Brien said in a phone interview. "They played pretty aggressive and seemed to control the net."
Squalicum hosts Sehome on Wednesday, Sept. 12.
