The Sehome boys' cross country team is ranked No. 1 in the state after the high school polls came out on Monday, Sept. 10.
Sehome has some familiar competition right behind it as Squalicum is ranked No. 2 in the state and Bellingham is No. 3 in 2A boys.
In 2A girls' cross country, Sehome is ranked No. 2 behind Cheney while Bellingham is No. 4.
In 1A boys' cross country, Lynden Christian is ranked No. 6 and Meridian is ranked No. 10. In 1A girls' cross country, Meridian is ranked No. 2, Nooksack Valley is No. 7 and Lynden Christian is No. 8.
