Twitter chat Wednesday on Internet safety for kids

Two Washington State Patrol detectives who work on cases of computer crimes against children will hold a Twitter chat on Internet safety Wednesday, Sept. 12.

Tweet questions about how to keep kids safe on the Internet to the hashtag #askWSP between 2:30 and 4 p.m. The detectives will respond. The only off-limits topics are those related to active cases.

Responding will be Sgt. Carlos Rodriguez, commander of the state's Missing and Exploited Children's Task Force, and Sgt. Jesse Regalado, commander of the WSP's High-Tech Crimes Unit who specialized in recovering information off hard drives.
