Herbert and Evelyn will celebrate their 70th anniversary with a no-gift open house hosted by their children from 2 to 4 Sept. 16 at the Clubhouse at Cordata Village, 4848 Village Dr. They were married Sept. 2, 1942, in Richmond, BC. He retired from Georgia Pacific, she is a retired dental assistant. In addition to their anniversary, Evelyn will be celebrating her 90th birthday. Their children are Ralph & Pat Dickenson of Phoenix and Mark and Cathy Rothenbuhler of Blaine. They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
