Outlook: Fifth-ranked Lynden Christian returns its top four runners from the state meet last year, and Wiley should give them a strong fifth. "Hopefully they all stay healthy, because we're not real deep," Postma said. "Time-wise, we drop off a little bit after those five, so the key is to get those guys through all the way to the end of the season." Postma said he's been pleased with the offseason work the team put in to help stay healthy. That should help make the Lyncs a threat to defend their 1A tri-district title and possibly give them a shot to end up on the podium at the state meet. "These guys run real well together and seem to fee off each other," Postma said.
