Outlook: Bob Carson said he couldn't be more pleased with the attitude his team brings into the 2012 season. "We're well aware of the league we're in, and we're looking for our personal bests and be happy with that sort of thing," Carson said in a phone interview. "The biggest thing for us is to do better than we did last year for all the guys we have coming back." Though the Lions did graduate some top runners, they've got some very strong returnees among their 13 boys, including Swineford, Iaconetti and Varner. "This group is not lacking in work ethic," Carson said. "That's one thing I'm definitely not concerned about."
