I heartily endorse Dave Grant to be our next Superior Court judge.

It was my great privilege to work with Dave Grant while serving on the Whatcom County Council, and I can say with the utmost confidence that Dave Grant is one of the most decent, kind and competent individuals I've ever met in my life.

Dave has been serving as a District Court judge for the past seven years, and while in this role he's been a strong advocate for enhancing access to the court system by starting up night court services. He's also encouraged programs that aim to provide alternatives to incarceration, programs that teach people to choose different paths for their lives. He's tough on crime when necessary, but he's also open to changing people, so that they don't continue to rotate through our criminal justice system and pose a continued burden to taxpayers.

Dave Grant is an intelligent, creative thinker, who has always been willing take on challenges in our community, and find solutions that work for everyone. I know that he will make an excellent Superior Court judge, and I will feel honored to be able to vote for him this fall.
