If you're headed out for the free Whatcom County Farm Tour on Saturday, Sept. 8, note that one stop has been removed.

Silver Springs Creamery, 256 E. Hemmi Road, listed at No. 8 on the farm tour map, has had to cancel due to a family emergency.

The other 10 stops include a winery, a nut farm and a ranch. Tour stops are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
