The Bellingham youth lacrosse program is holding a "lacrosseathon" fundraiser from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Barkley Village Pavilion in Bellingham.
For 15 hours groups of two to four players will toss around a lacrosse ball in an effort to raise money for field rentals and equipment.
Ten percent of proceeds earned will be donated to the National Warrior Wounded Project - a nonprofit organization constructed to help wounded warriors of the United States Armed Forces.
