St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church hosts its annual Greek Festival from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6-9, at the church, 510 Sunset Drive.
For many people, delicious food is a main attraction; among the offerings are gyros, souvlaki, spanikopita and a variety of rich desserts, plus Greek and regular coffee.
There also will be a beer garden featuring Boundary Bay beer, plus retsina and other wines; also live music and dancing. New this year: Seattle's Greek Gods Yogurt.
