Lummi Island artists open their studios to the public Sept. 1-2

More than 25 artists and craftspeople display and sell their painting, drawings, prints, pottery, jewelry and other arts and crafts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1-2, at various locations on Lummi Island.

Among the artists: Karen Weber, who designs notecards and paints silk scarves and other textiles; and Susie Wirth, who creates glass mosaic wall art.
