Here we go again. Today's Herald reports that yet another Whatcom County resident is complaining that there are too many Canadians at Costco. It's truly amazing what some people will complain about. Canadians contribute significantly to our local economy. And if the person who fostered the Facebook page doesn't like the way that our Canadian neighbors drive or park their cars while spending their money in our county, then I suggest that he (she?) drive into Langley or Abbottsford and wreak havoc on their streets and parking lots in some sort of misguided retaliation. Of course he/she would probably then spend the night in the local jail. Oh well, at least he/she would then demonstrate the courage of his/her convictions. Ridiculous what some people will complain about. I'm signing off with a substantial "thank you" to the Canadians for what they do for Whatcom County.
