LYNDEN - Ticket sales for this year's Northwest Washington Fair grandstand events are up about 20 percent from what they were last year at the same time, said Jim Baron, the fair's manager.
There are still tickets available for all of the events, which include a demolition derby, monster truck rally, and performances by The Oak Ridge Boys, Chris Tomlin, Billy Currington and Heart.
As of Thursday, Aug. 2, there were still plenty of seats available for Heart, but Baron said those tickets in particular are starting to run low and will likely sell out.
Grandstand event tickets range in price from $18 to $48 and include admission to the fair. Preferred seating is no longer available for The Oak Ridge Boys, Chris Tomlin, Billy Currington or Heart.
Tickets can be purchased online at nwwafair.com.
