The Blaine Ace Hardware store has re-opened in the International Shopping Center.
The store opened at 8 a.m. Monday, July 16, in the shopping center that has Cost Cutter as an anchor tenant. The 12,200-square-foot Ace Hardware store has a "serious commitment" from the Whatcom Farmer's Co-op, so about 25 percent of the store is dedicated to feed and farm products, said Ken Rose, manager of the store.
The space was formerly home to an Ace Hardware store until it closed last summer. Rose said they received a great response from the community when the store opened Monday.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. For further information about the store, call 360-255-7206.
