Tim Johnson and Ron Bailey were recently named to the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County, according to a press release.

Tim, an environmental coordinator for Phillips 66 Company and a county resident since 2004, became involved with Habitat for Humanity two years ago when his church, First Presbyterian Church of Bellingham, joined the Apostles' Build project.

He lives with his wife, Tracy, and three sons in Bellingham and also volunteers with his church and the Lighthouse Mission.

Ron retired three years ago from Western Washington University, where he worked as a facilities manager. He was born and raised in Whatcom County, and has volunteered with Habitat for several years.

He has spent 25 years as a volunteer firefighter in Ferndale, where he lives with his wife, Kathy. They have three grown children. He also volunteers with Love, INC and Birchwood Presbyterian Church, where he is a member.
