BELLINGHAM - Several roads in Whatcom County may be closed temporarily Monday, July 16, to Thursday, July 19, for chip sealing.

The following roads are scheduled for work: Lake Whatcom Boulevard, Cain Lake Road, Cain Lake Road N.E., South Bay Drive, Iowa Heights, Park Road, Blue Canyon Road and Lake Louise Road.

All roads are located near Lake Whatcom, particularly on the southern end.

Drivers should expect delays. The work requires dry weather, so it could take longer than the scheduled four days to finish.
