As a citizen of the United States of America, I am deeply sorrowed by the actions of our administration. The continued drone strikes against the innocent people of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia do not make my life or my freedom more secure. On the contrary, I feel by not speaking out against these atrocities I am not alive but have become the walking dead. My soul grieves for the families who have lost loved ones in these U.S.-led attacks. I grieve as much as I did on 9-11. I only hope and pray that this country has not lost its moral compass and will right itself and find the true course towards peace.
