Says voters won't OK gay marriage

Published: July 11, 2012

In response to The Bellingham Herald's front-page headline June 15, "Tide may be turning in favor of gay marriage," prior to this The Herald ran a brief article on the inside page regarding Referendum 74 and the overwhelming response in signatures to stop this law. Thus giving the people the right to vote in November. With a new elected Governor Rob McKenna and the majority of people supporting marriage as one man and one woman, I don't see any tide turning in the future. The only tide that will turn is the one in Bellingham Bay.
