Local voters will get a chance to learn about the contenders for the open Whatcom County Superior Court judge position at a candidate forum Tuesday, July 10.
The forum will run from 7 to 8:15 p.m. in City Council chambers at Bellingham City Hall, 210 Lottie St.
Three people are running for the position being vacated by Judge Steven Mura: Carrie Coppinger Carter, Deborra Garrett and David Grant. The audience will be invited to submit questions at the forum.
The event is being organized by the League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County and the Whatcom County Bar Association. For those who can't make it, the forum will be recorded and broadcast by BTV 10.
