Downtown Bellingham Partnership's eighth annual Downtown Sounds series begins Wednesday, July 11, with music by Acorn Project and Down North in the 1300 block of Bay Street.

Each Wednesday, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. through Aug. 8, there will be family-friendly music, a beverage garden provided by Boundary Bay Brewery and Bistro, food vendors and street buskers. Details: downtownbellingham.com, 360-527-8710.
