Bellingham United rattled off its fourth straight win, and Kellan Brown added his ninth and 10th goal of the season, as BUFC earned a 2-0 Pacific Coast Soccer League win against Victoria United Saturday, June 30, at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria, B.C.
Brown put the Hammers in front with a late first half goal off an assist from Chris Jepson.
"Jepson got the ball from and laid it in to Kellan," BUFC coach Lance Calloway said in a press release. "He then was a little cheeky and chipped the keeper from about 10 yards out."
Brown cleaned up a corner kick in the second half, and booted the ball into the top of the net to earn his league-leading 10th goal of United's inaugural campaign.
United improved to 8-5-0, and its next match is against Langley Athletic at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 7, in Langley, B.C.
