Bells knock around BlueJackets in victory

The Bellingham Bells had 16 hits in an 8-2 victory over the Kitsap BlueJackets on Friday, June 15, at Joe Martin Field.

Nathaniel Causey had three hits, three RBI and one run for the Bells, Jarel Lewis had four hits, two RBI and two runs scored and Michael Leach added two runs.

Keith Zuniga worked the final 3 1/3 innings, giving up two hits and a run to earn the win. Corey Carma pitched the first 5 2/3, giving up five hits and one run.

The Bells host Portland at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, June 16, have a day off Sunday and start a three-game series at Klamath Falls on Monday.
