Blake Zender pitched eight shutout innings and Post 7 defeated Coquitlam (B.C.) 7-0 in senior legion baseball action on Thursday, June 14, at Sehome High School.

The win improved Post 7 to 7-2.

Zender allowed four hits and struck out five in eight innings.

"He was in control the whole game," Post 7 coach Steve Slesk said in a phone interview.

Tanner Olson was 3 for 4 with a double and John Albert was 1 for 4 with a triple.

Post 7 next plays a doubleheader against Lakeside Recovery in Bellevue on Saturday.
