Don and Bernice Kooy of Lynden are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. There were married on June 12, 1952. Their careers included Sears, Midway RV and Home Center and, most recently, Tulip Tours, which they cofounded after retirement. They conducted over 100 tours and cruises and met many wonderful people. Their children are Bev and Bill Hughes of Port Angeles, Daryl Kooy of Lynden, and Loren and Martina Kooy and Vance and Sarah Kooy, all of Sedro-Woolley. The have four grandchildren.
