DEMING - The Deming Logging Show, a wood-chopping extravaganza to benefit busted-up loggers, will be held this weekend.
The 50th annual show features log loading, axe throwing, block chopping, hand bucking, pole falling and tree climbing.
The event starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10, at the Deming Logging Show Grounds off of Cedarville Road.
Admission is $7 for adults; $4 for children and seniors. Proceeds go to a fund for injured loggers.
