Lynden Chamber add three members to the board

Lynden Chamber of Commerce recently added three new members to its board of directors.

Jerry Blankers of Muljat Group North, Calvin Den Hartog of Nooksack Valley Disposal and Dave Dodson of Edaleen Dairy joined the group.

Bill Pate, owner of Bookkeeping Solutions NW, was elected president of the board.

The three new members are serving alongside current board members including Duane Bode of Lynden Paint & Decorating, Windermere real estate agent Ron DeBoer, Kelly Ellis of Sole Obsession Footwear, Patti Rowlson of PR Consulting Services, Blake Starkenburg of Oldride.com and Pete Wolkin of Pioneer Ford.

With more than 300 members, the Lynden Chamber of Commerce works in partnership with the city of Lynden to promote local businesses and coordinate regional events including the Farmer's Day Parade, Northwest Raspberry Festival and Lynden Lighted Christmas Parade.
