The WSA Rapids beat the Snohomish Skyhawks 10-6 in the Premier Arena Soccer League Northwest Division semifinal match on Saturday, Feb. 18, at home.
With the win the Rapids will advance to the divisional championship match to play the winner of the match between Kitsap Pumas and South Sound Shock and a chance to advance to the Premier Arena Soccer League's National Championship in San Diego Calif., March 9-10.
Halfway through the second period the Rapids were up 5-0 but with the second half the Skyhawks came roaring back to bring the match to 6-4.
The Rapids were led by leading scorer Kellan Brown as he scored a hat trick. Scott Swanson, Greg Young and Joel Grossman each contributed two goals apiece and Matt Fishbaugher chipped in a single goal.
