The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction and Washington Board of Education announced the winners of the third-annual Washington Achievement Awards earlier this month.
Kiona-Benton City High School was recognized for overall excellence and excellence in language arts, along with several other schools in the Mid-Columbia Basin. The awards are determined by a scoring rubric and the past three years of achievement data from the schools.
