A project to stabilize the riverbank and re-pave the Greenbelt near Veterans Memorial Parkway is expected to delay pedestrians for several weeks.
The project begins Wednesday, Feb. 8, and continues through March 13 on the north side of the river. Flaggers will direct pedestrian traffic during business hours.
Boise Parks & Recreation crews will bolster the riverbank to prevent future erosion then repave a quarter mile section of the popular pathway.
The city is urging Greenbelt users to seek alternative routes to avoid construction-related delays.
