Harry Potter and mythology focus of Feb. 8 talk at WWU

BELLINGHAM - A Western Washington University student will discuss "Classical Mythology in the World of Harry Potter " at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in Wilson Reading Room, 4C, of the Western Libraries at WWU.

The free event is open to the public. General readers, fans of Greek mythology and especially those who love Harry Potter are welcome.

Hannah Boxberger, a WWU senior majoring in classical studies, will give the talk. She studies Greek, ancient literature and ancient history, and is also an expert on the world of Harry Potter.

She is planning a career in library science.
