FERNDALE - The International Cat Association, in coordination with The Evergreen Cat Fanciers association, will host the "My Furry Valentine" two-day championship and household cat show next weekend.

The show will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Ferndale Events Center, 5715 Barrett Road.

The show will feature 225 cats for judging. Rescue cats will be available for adoption.

Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and children ages 6 to 13; kids younger than 6 are free.

All proceeds benefit Purrfect Pals, a no-kill cat rescue organization in Arlington.
