The Whatcom Community College men's basketball team is tired but it pulled off an 83-73 victory Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Everett behind Derek Dickerson's 22 points, including six 3-pointers.

WCC coach Chris Scrimsher said his team is worn down after playing six of nine games on the road and four straight away from home.

"It seems like we've been on the road so much it's been hard to play a full 40 minutes," Scrimsher said in a phone interview. "I think we're just beat up and tired."

Patrick Voeut had 16 points and nine assists, Zach Stalin added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Evan Coulter added 12 points for the Orcas, who improved to 16-3 overall and 8-1 in the NWAACC North Division.

Whatcom's next game is against Edmonds Community College at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Whatcom Community College.
