BELLINGHAM - A vandal wielding a concrete cinder block first missed the glass employee door of Logos Bible Software, but a second throw was a success: He broke the door and provided a clear view of his face in a security camera.

An employee discovered the vandalism Tuesday morning, Jan. 24, when arriving at the building at 1313 Commercial Ave.

In LogosTalk, a company blog, Jayson Bradley joked about the vandalism, writing maybe the person had been frustrated over some confusion on the release date of the Logos software 4.5 version.

"I can only imagine that he had tried in vain multiple times to update to 4.5 last night," Bradley wrote in the blog, which included a video of the vandalism.

Police estimated damage at $900.

No one had been arrested as of Tuesday afternoon, though police were reviewing evidence, spokesman Mark Young said.

Logos software version 4.5 shipped Tuesday.
